I am proud to be a first-generation Canadian woman of color! I am also proud of being a wife, mother of two children and a Social Service Worker. I am currently perusing an MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University NS. I am proud to be a part of a diverse and multicultural community that displays various skills, languages, cultures and is a full representation of all the Diverse Hues! Being a part of this diverse community and enjoying every bit of its variance I have also seen its vulnerable aspect. It is this very tender aspect that I would like to bring about a fair and equal change by becoming the Founder and CEO of Diversity Hues. The vision and mission of Diversity Hues lies at the very core of my heart and it is my dream to see it happen!

I grew up on the Red Cree Nation reserve and later moved to Alberta. I am a proud and busy mother to five children and currently pursuing an MBA! I hope to complete my MBA this year. I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and see different places, various cultures and traditions and meet beautiful people along these journeys. I have seen diversity amongst people and enjoyed their Diversity Hues. By becoming a part of Diversity Hues, I am excited and look forward to helping BIWOC progress and reach their limitless potential!

I am a proud Canadian with Jamaican heritage! When I immigrated to Canada about ten years ago, I knew that starting a new life will be a little challenging. But I dared to dream big and took my first step onto this land of opportunity. Being a woman and then a woman of color I continued my journey facing challenges but unfaltering. I accumulated my experience and strength to fulfil my dream! Today by supporting Diversity Hues I would like to contribute to make a fair and equal change for BIWOC to step into more challenging leadership roles. To help BIPOC women become a strong and powerful pillar to our Canadian economy. This in turn would be my contribution to Canada and my dream to see it a better and stronger economy with an equal representation of BIWOC!!

I am a Canadian with Vietnamese heritage raised in Edmonton. I graduated with an MBA last fall and now enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training program. I see myself as a life long learner and love to travel. Being able to travel the globe has united me with people of various cultures and ethic backgrounds. In this regard I consider myself very fortunate and I believe that behind every human being there is a principle and a story that enlightens me and helps me understand Diversity Hues even better! I want to be an integral part of Diversity Hues and I passionately believe that BIWOC holds great potential that needs to be focussed and channelled into leadership roles. Once this is achieved, I see Canada stronger and united as ever. And this for a life longer learner will be a dream come true!
